Department: Operations

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

FTE Status: Full Time

Reporting Structure:

Reports to: Facilities Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of general cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the facility, particularly in the warehouse and surrounding outdoor areas.
  • Manage the disposal of corrugated cardboard and other waste materials.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in aisles and workspaces.
  • Perform additional housekeeping duties as required.
  • Assist the maintenance team with various tasks as needed.
  • Operate motorized industrial equipment, including sit-down forklifts and industrial floor sweepers/scrubbers, as necessary.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
  • Maintain regular and dependable attendance.
  • Complete other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated good performance and safety records.
  • Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must pass the motorized industrial equipment test and obtain necessary licensing.
  • Physical Requirements: Must regularly lift, pack, stack, and wrap items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Working Conditions: Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks. Noise levels are typically moderate, and temperatures may reach up to 90 degrees during warmer months.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
