Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience working with low voltage cabling, fiber optics, and network equipment installation, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced and high-security data center environment.
Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling, including Cat5e/6/6A, fiber optic, and coaxial cables.
- Networking Equipment Installation: Install and mount networking equipment such as routers, switches, patch panels, and firewalls in server racks.
- Cable Management: Perform cable management, labeling, and patching, ensuring all work adheres to established standards and best practices.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage cabling and networking equipment, performing tests and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus (e.g., BICSI, CompTIA Network+).
- Skills: Experience installing and maintaining low voltage cabling and networking equipment, proficiency with cable testing tools and network equipment.
- Industry Standards: Strong understanding of industry standards such as ANSI/TIA/EIA and BICSI.
- Safety Protocols: Ability to maintain high standards of safety and security, following all data center protocols and guidelines.
- Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
