We are seeking a skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our acclaimed Social Work Emergency Services team. As a member of our team, you will respond to social needs and issues in the Emergency Department and throughout inpatient services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical social work services in accordance with established professional, programmatic, and departmental standards and treatment models.
- Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care, assist in program development, and participate in continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Provide consultation to interdisciplinary team members on psychosocial issues and specific patient needs.
- Conduct staff education programs as assigned.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and work groups as needed.
- Utilize supervision to enhance practice.
- May assist in supervising Resource Specialists and/or Social Work Interns.
- Prepare accurate, thorough, and timely documentation, record keeping, and reporting in conformance with hospital and departmental standards.
- Master's degree in Social Work, LCSW or LICSW required. LICSW preferred.
- Experience in a medical environment highly preferred.
- Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
New hires are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
