About the Role

As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting our physicians and healthcare providers while gaining first-hand knowledge and practical experience in the field. You will be responsible for accurately documenting patient information, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Support physicians and healthcare providers in their daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical knowledge and technologies
Requirements
  • Available to work on-site in the evenings and overnight remote shifts
  • Responsible and mature demeanor with a passion for medicine
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Quick and accurate typing speed
  • Experience with medical terminology, human anatomy, and human physiology is preferred
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption
  • Ability to stand, walk, and follow a physician for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment
  • 1-year commitment at this site, continuous one year, not a summer position
  • Excellent follow-through and self-motivation
