Senior Clinical Exercise Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Clinical Exercise Specialist with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Biology, Exercise Science, Rehabilitation, Exercise Physiology, or Physical Therapy, along with a minimum of three months of experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Clinical Exercise Specialist, you will:
1. Provide a comprehensive understanding of Human Physiology.
2. Design, assess, and implement exercise programs tailored for patients and participants within specialized fields, utilizing methods such as treadmill testing, cardiac radionuclide studies, body composition assessments, and peripheral vascular disease evaluations.
3. Gather patient histories and perform thorough physical examinations.
4. Administer a variety of tests, including exercise stress tests, body density assessments, electrocardiograms, and blood tests, to establish appropriate programs that encompass personalized aerobic exercise, dietary planning, and guidance on behavioral modifications, including smoking cessation, dietary changes, and medication adherence.
5. Conduct fitness evaluations for athletes and team members to create accurate physiological profiles.
6. Educate and counsel athletes and coaches on critical topics such as heart rate monitoring, recovery techniques, hydration strategies, overtraining, acclimatization, and periodization.
7. Provide exercise recommendations for individuals with chronic conditions, including Coronary Artery Disease, Diabetes, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
8. Develop, implement, and coordinate exercise programs while administering medical tests under physician supervision, aimed at enhancing physical fitness.
9. Clearly explain program supervision and testing procedures to participants and interpret data to assess progress or recommend necessary adjustments.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.
