About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Development, Corporate and Foundation Relations to join our team at the University of North Texas System. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in advancing our institution's mission and goals through strategic fundraising and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure major gifts from corporate and foundation partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including foundation executives, corporate leaders, and university administrators.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and pursue funding opportunities that align with the university's strategic priorities.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality grant proposals and reports to secure funding and ensure effective stewardship of gifts.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Corporate and Foundation Relations team to ensure successful execution of fundraising initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and seven years of professional experience in fundraising, donor relations, public relations, or sales.
  • Proven track record of success in securing major gifts from corporate and foundation partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and identify new funding opportunities.
