Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at The Chefs' Warehouse. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods throughout our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking and Packing: Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, and work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Material Handling: Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas, utilizing electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts.
  • Inventory Management: Sort and break down product by SKU, quantity, and product type, ensuring accurate and efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with Receivers, Drivers, Driver Check-in, and Forklift Operators to ensure seamless operations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to proper safety practices for truck and trailer pull processes, report safety concerns, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
