Required Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within three years of employment
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within five years of employment
  • Minimum of one year of critical care experience
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively problem-solve
  • Critical thinking skills and sound judgment necessary for directing patient care
  • Knowledge of care protocols for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities
  • Basic computer proficiency

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Current Michigan Nursing License
  • Current BLS certification or completion during Patient Care Orientation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
