Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pallet Sorter to join our team at C&S Wholesale Services, LLC. As a Pallet Sorter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient sorting and processing of returned pallets, totes, and cardboard bales in our grocery warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort through returned packaging and move to the proper place in the warehouse
  • Unload returned trailer-truck's cargo hold of returned pallets, totes, and cardboard bales
  • Sort pallets, totes, and cardboard bales according to truck, color, and destination
  • Record data regarding the amount and type of returned packaging
  • Load packaging onto appropriate trucks according to vendor
  • Clean the work area at the end of each shift

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 75 lbs while bending, stooping, crouching, twisting, and standing for up to 10 hours
  • Relevant experience preferred
  • Attendance, General Equivalency Diploma - General Studies, High School Diploma - General Studies, Initiative, Productivity, Quality, Safety, Values

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 50F to 90F.
