We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Alexandria/Arlington, VA area, providing home visits and answering calls in a flexible on-call position.

This role requires occasional home visits and answering calls Monday-Thursday 5:00p-8:30a and/or Friday 5:00p-Monday 8:30a. Responsibilities of this role include:
  • Following a designated care plan in accordance with patient needs.
  • Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
  • Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
  • Monitoring clients' conditions and reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
  • Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
  • Performing client assessments as necessary.
  • Case management and coordination.
Qualifications for this role include:
  • A current license as a Registered Nurse in VA.
  • A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
  • Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Solid computer skills, with prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
