Agricultural Service Manager Job Description

**Job Summary:**

Gpac is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agricultural Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the service department, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Department Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Contract Development: Create and manage contracts with contractors for equipment rentals and purchases, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Training and Development: Train service staff on best practices in customer satisfaction and brand promotion, ensuring a high level of expertise.
  • Scheduling and Work Order Management: Develop and maintain a priority system for scheduling service work, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Warranty and Claims Management: Ensure timely completion and filing of manufacturer warranty and Product Improvement Program claims.
  • Employee Management: Schedule and assign job tasks to employees based on their skills and knowledge, ensuring optimal productivity.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the service department is equipped with necessary tools and service equipment is available and maintained in good working order.
  • Dealership Training and Customer Clinics: Coordinate dealership training programs and service-related customer clinics, enhancing customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Metrics and Goal Achievement: Monitor and analyze departmental metrics to ensure achievement of business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a service management position or background as a service technician/mechanic.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and sense of urgency.
