Job Title: Data Integration Engineer

At BakerHostetler, we're seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Engineer to join our IS team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing data integration solutions that drive innovation and efficiency in our data management processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data processing workflows/pipelines to support solutions development and business intelligence needs.
  • Ensure seamless flow of data across systems by developing scalable and effective data integration solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data storage solutions, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Implement data validation and cleansing procedures to ensure the highest level of data quality and integrity.
  • Monitor and resolve problems with data platforms to guarantee consistency and availability of the data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the needs for data and create effective data workflows.
Required Technical Skills:

Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Azure Logic Apps, Azure DevOps, Power Automate, REST API.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
  • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience developing software solutions.
Required Interpersonal and Communication Skills:
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients and internal customers.
  • Ability to lead and build consensus among peers and staff.
  • Understanding and ability to follow project management methodologies.
  • Accurately manage and report all time worked on projects.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts with an audience.
