Key Responsibilities:
- License Management: Maintain and monitor the licensing portfolio across various states, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with state-specific regulations.
- Regulatory Expertise: Act as a liaison between the company and state regulatory bodies, ensuring all communications are handled efficiently and accurately.
- Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation related to licensing, ensuring that all records are audit-ready and compliant with applicable laws.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate the smooth operation of licensing processes.
- Best Practices Development: Establish and implement best practices for licensing management, adapting to changes in state laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of the Code of Federal Regulations, particularly Title 27, and have experience in the alcohol beverage licensing sector. The ability to read and interpret state and federal regulations is essential, along with excellent communication skills.
Work Environment:
This position is based in a collaborative office environment, with no travel required. The Corporate Legal Specialist will report directly to the State Beverage Compliance Manager and will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
