About the Role

We are looking for a talented Electronics Design Specialist to join our team at SF Staffing Solutions. As an expert in precision instrumentation electronics, you will design and develop cutting-edge analog circuitry and sensory signal conditioning systems.

  • An estimated salary for this role is $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
  • This position requires a B.S. Electrical / Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent, along with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • You will be responsible for designing and troubleshooting analog circuits, as well as amplifying and conditioning signals for frequency, temperature, and pressure sensing.
  • A strong understanding of grounding techniques, shielding, and noise suppression is essential.
  • In addition, you should have expertise in digital circuit design and troubleshooting, including Microcontroller/Logic, circuitry for high-precision period and frequency measurements, and logic for digital I/O and system control.
  • C and Assembly language embedded programming skills are required, and VHDL or VERILOG experience, as well as familiarity with JTAG, FLASH programming, and bootloaders, are highly valued.
  • You will use EDA and simulation tools like Altium or OrCad to capture schematics, layout mixed-signal circuit boards, and characterize circuits.
  • Competency in design test and validation methods, using data acquisition and statistical analysis tools, is also essential.
  • Proficiency in NI LabView and data acquisition hardware is a plus.
  • You must possess effective communication and documentation skills to interface with management, sales associates, and customers.
  • Ability to define requirements specifications and document test procedures is crucial.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word is required; MS PowerPoint is a plus. FCC/CE certification experience is also a plus.
  • Experience with serial communications (USB, RS-232/422/485, I2C, SPI) and/or industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN) is a plus.
