Job Summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled CDL Front Load Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for servicing commercial customers on assigned routes, collecting and hauling waste or recycling materials to disposal sites or recycling plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate trucks in a safe and efficient manner, complying with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers on assigned routes by emptying containers into trucks and hauling them to disposal sites.
  • Maintain and update route sheets, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and complete logs.
  • Interact professionally with internal and external customers, including commercial customers.
  • Perform physical requirements of the job, including prolonged physical exertions, such as sitting, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • At least 19 years of age and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
  • No DUIs or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Working Conditions

Exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas, residential and commercial waste, and possible exposure to extreme temperatures.
