Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Credentialed Teacher to join our team. As a Credentialed Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality instructional program within a small school environment. You will establish a personal relationship with each student, ensuring they feel valued as an individual, and create a culture of high expectations that includes the shared belief that every student will attend college.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement lesson plans and classroom activities aligned with California State Standards and Fortune School of Education Instructional Guidelines.
- Assess students regularly and analyze student results, refining and differentiating classroom instruction based on assessment data and student needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices throughout the school, sharing best practices and assuming a leadership role in some aspects of the development of the school.
- Communicate regularly with students and their families about classroom activities and student progress, involving parents and guardians as partners in their students' education.
- Manage student behavior to ensure every student is fully engaged, actively participating in professional development activities, and working closely with lead teachers, principal, and instructional coaches.
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid California Teaching Credential - Single Subject (English, Science, Math, Social Science, Physical Education, or Music)
- Appropriate certification for teaching English Language Learners
- 1+ year working with students as a teacher, teacher intern, or teaching assistant
This position requires working in an office environment with constant interruptions, as well as driving a personal vehicle to conduct work, visit school sites, travel to other organizations and companies, meetings, and workshops.
BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $63,403 - $91,524 per year, paid time off, 403(B) Retirement Plan, and a PAID Teacher Induction Program.
