Job Summary:

The Resident Caregiver is responsible for providing personalized care and support to residents in all aspects of their daily life, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including laundry and housekeeping duties
  • Support residents with behavior management, socialization, and activities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly, with previous dementia experience preferred
  • Certification required according to state regulations, and must successfully complete required training
