Job Summary:
As a Medical Assistant at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services under the supervision of a licensed physician or healthcare professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patient rooms and ensure a clean and organized environment for patient care.
- Take vital signs, report significant findings, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Perform routine medical procedures, such as venipunctures and audiometry testing, as ordered by a physician.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient recall systems.
Requirements:
- High School Education or equivalent preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or CHDP certification within six months of hire preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
