We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kennel Assistant to join our team at VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our animal hospital, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of kennels, cages, and public areas, adhering to proper disease control protocols.
• Stock and replenish kennel and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Process shipments, receive, and stock medical supplies.
• Clean, fold, and stock laundry throughout the clinic.
• Perform minor facility maintenance tasks.
• Assist with cleaning and preparing operating rooms, following proper disease control protocols.
• Maintain overall facility cleanliness and organization.
• Keep central supply areas stocked for medical teams.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
