Software Engineer Job Description

We are a cutting-edge technology company, Wyetech LLC, dedicated to developing innovative software solutions for our clients. We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems.
  • Work closely with other talented engineers to create software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Provide onsite customer support in Augusta, GA 75% of the time.
  • Travel up to 25% CONUS and OCONUS.

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge and experience developing Java-based software capabilities.
  • Inquisitive nature, responsiveness, and excellent testing skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
  • Current Secret level security clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries, and a Bachelor's in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing enterprise APIs, RESTful web services, Microservices architecture, and Object Oriented Programming paradigms.
  • Experience with the agile software lifecycle, Linux operating system, and configuration management tools.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers on a daily basis.
