Samba Care is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team in Morristown, New Jersey.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technician to work with our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, administering radiopharmaceuticals, positioning patients and equipment, and monitoring patients during examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
  • Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort
  • Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, and monitor video display to adjust density or contrast
  • Monitor patients during examinations, ensure safety, and follow procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation
  • Produce diagnostic images, report important information to the Physician, and update patient records
  • Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment
