Your Role: Enhancing Construction Efficiency

As an Asphalt Laborer, you'll be instrumental in supporting various aspects of our construction projects. From loading and unloading materials to operating hand and power tools, your hands-on involvement will contribute to the progress of each project. Your commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with site supervisors and construction staff are key components of your role.

Responsibilities:
  • General Construction Tasks: Assist with loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools to contribute to the progress of construction projects.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with site supervisors and construction staff to ensure the success of each project, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices, bringing forward ideas and suggestions for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Other Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned, showcasing flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic construction environment.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in construction or a related industry is preferred.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Skills: Basic math and measurement skills, along with the ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
