Matrix Providers is a leading healthcare provider, dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our nation's heroes. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of talented medical professionals.
About the RoleThis part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work with veterans, conducting one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for reviewing pertinent medical history documentation and providing thorough examinations.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies, along with an active and unrestricted license, is required. NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants is also necessary.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough examinations, including musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory assessments
- Capture responses during the exam through web-based examination forms
- Order ancillaries (X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) as needed and conduct them on location or nearby
- Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies
- Active and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent clinical skills and strong communication abilities
