**About Amity:**

Amity Foundation is a safe haven where people can change in an environment that fosters trust, responsibility, and lasting relationships. We are committed to the inclusion and habilitation of people marginalized by addiction, homelessness, trauma, criminality, incarceration, poverty, racism, sexism, and violence.

**What You Will Do:**

As an Eternal Vigilance Monitor, you will contribute to the community by:

* Supervising students during quiet and sleeping hours, remaining constantly awake and alert.
* Conducting bed checks and documenting at scheduled times as required.
* Assuming supervision responsibilities in the absence of faculty.
* Contacting designated faculty as directed and notifying them of problems and/or incidents.
* Completing required forms for faculty intention meetings.
* Serving as an advisor and positive role model for assigned students.
* Preventing, intervening, and reporting student altercations and incidents.
* Administering First Aid and CPR during emergencies in accordance with the American Red Cross.
* Conducting and practicing emergency evacuation procedures.
* Assisting in maintaining facility grounds and keeping equipment in proper working condition.
* Responsible for Critical Incidents and Incident reporting when occurs during scheduled shift.
* Up-loading clinical supportive documentation (i.e., motivation logs, intensions forms).
* Performing other related duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent GED.
* Flexibility to work various overnight shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
* Ability to operate general office equipment.
* Ability to maintain confidential information.
* Minimal knowledge of contemporary substance abuse treatment practices in a residential setting.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
* Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectively under pressure generated through association with substance abuse students.
* RADT certification a plus.
