Prestige Fleet Services is a leading provider of mobile truck and trailer maintenance and repair services. We understand the complexities of modern fleet maintenance and strive to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, and more.
- Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections, to ensure compliance and optimal vehicle performance.
- Repair and replace vehicle and trailer components as needed, utilizing a range of tools and equipment.
- Manage repair orders on a company-issued device, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Source parts from local vendors and maintain inventory on the service truck, optimizing efficiency and reducing downtime.
- Complete DOT forms and other documentation accurately and promptly, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel repair, with a strong understanding of heavy-duty truck systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Valid Driver's License required, with a clean driving record.
- Self-motivated individual with strong organizational and planning skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in utilizing a computer or tablet for electronic processing of work orders, including adding labor hours and updating work order statuses.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
Compensation:
$29 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
