Speech-Language Pathologist Position Available

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Wilmington, DE.

This full-time position involves working with a high-needs K-12 school, primarily serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with their preferred age group and handle moderate to severe cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills to identify needs and determine eligibility for services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions for students with moderate to severe speech and language needs.
  • Partner with teachers, special education staff, and other service providers to incorporate speech and language goals into students' educational programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, therapy plans, and IEP goals.
  • Regularly update families on student progress, provide resources, and involve them in the therapy process.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Delaware state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered.
  • Experience working with high-needs populations, particularly students with ASD, is highly desirable.
Work Schedule:

Full-Time: 40 hours per week, following the school calendar for the academic year. Potential for Extended School Year (ESY).
