Job Overview

Thrifty Transportation, Inc is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to operate company vehicles in a safe and reliable manner. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attendance record and be able to perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and efficient transportation services to passengers
  • Maintain a strong attendance record and adhere to scheduled routes
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability
  • Develop a functional knowledge of the service area demographics
  • Load and unload passengers at designated points
  • Assist passengers with mobility aids as needed
  • Complete and submit written reports on passenger interactions and accidents
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of professional driving experience
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a certified driving record
  • Ability to handle physical workload and push/pull tension of at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to work under stress and in various environmental conditions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and dispatchers
  • Meet DOT requirements and maintain a clean driving record
