Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with current industry software and programs. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare permit sets, construction drawings, and designs of residential and commercial building projects.
  • Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other data received from architects, designers, and engineers.
  • Use current industry software and programs to perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing analysis and design.
  • Visit site and/or client offices as required by the project.
  • Work with assigned task scope and budget, coordinate with client and team to develop effective and efficient solutions.
  • Communicate with client on detailed aspects of engineering work.
  • Provide construction administration services and field engineering services as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/BE Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
  • Three or more years of post-graduate experience in MEP Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of current industry software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Right-Suite, and Enercalc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player who can work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to evaluate and balance design tradeoffs.
