Strategic Event Coordinator

Ngage Management is seeking a seasoned Strategic Event Coordinator to play a pivotal role in planning and executing successful meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement event strategies to meet client objectives, working closely with education committees on content selection and speaker identification
- Select venues, negotiate with vendors, and manage event registration, ensuring seamless execution and compliance
- Create promotional materials, including website copy, brochures, and sponsor prospectuses, and lead client communications through weekly e-newsletters and social media
- Manage event finances, preparing budgets, reconciliations, and travel expense reports
- Lead client planning committee calls and follow up on action plans, overseeing all event logistics from timelines to staff and presenter travel arrangements
- Work directly with sponsors and exhibitors, ensuring deliverables are complete
- Prepare event materials, including name tags, agendas, scripts, and handouts
- Maintain accurate databases and records for client archives
- Minimum 3 years' experience in event management and planning
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in event, hospitality, and/or management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to develop interpersonal relationships and proactively plan event logistics
- Able to learn new software programs quickly and adapt to changing priorities
- Association experience
- Healthcare accreditation experience
- Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) experience with association management software and online event management tools
$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus up to 25% travel reimbursement.
