Job Summary

The Instructional Aide plays a vital role in supporting the instructional and supervisory needs of the assigned classroom. This position also involves supervising students in outside settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the instruction and supervision of students in the classroom and outside settings.
  • Support the teacher in implementing educational programs and activities.
  • Supervise students during activities, such as field trips and extracurricular events.
  • Assist with student assessments and evaluations.
  • Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of college (48 units) or an Associate's degree (or higher).
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction.
