Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Experience Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for promoting an exceptional customer experience, leading by example, and ensuring a positive and engaging environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and role-modeling outstanding customer service.
  • Team Leadership: Oversees a team of Associates at the front of the store, ensuring prompt and courteous customer service, and promoting loyalty programs.
  • Training and Development: Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience, and assigns registers and supports POS coverage needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience, and ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan.
  • Communication: Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provides progress updates.
  • Adaptability: Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness, ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, and promotes credit and loyalty programs.
  • Safety and Security: Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment, and supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
Requirements
  • Availability: Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Merchandising Techniques: Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
