About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our properties, ensuring that our buildings and equipment are in good working order.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Use intermediate skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems, and equipment.
  • Work under limited supervision to support assigned service calls and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Review and complete maintenance and repairs records, and apply CMMS to handle work orders and supervise completion.
  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems, including plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC/R.
  • Inspect building systems to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by clients.
  • Coordinate and inspect the work performed by outside contractors.
  • Support an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more, and perform physical tasks such as stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs/ladders.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks.
  • Licensure as required by AHJ.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
