Job Summary

As a Specialized Radiologic Technologist at Sky Ridge Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures that guide instruments through a patient's blood vessels and organs. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will optimize the use of radiation, advise on the provision of radiology equipment, and train staff and physicians in relevant aspects of radiation protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize the use of radiation to ensure patient safety and effective treatment
  • Assist patients to procedure rooms and provide support during procedures
  • Advise on the provision of radiology equipment and ensure its proper maintenance
  • Train staff and physicians in relevant aspects of radiation protection
  • Evaluate quality assurance performance and monitor performance metrics
  • Assist in procedures such as angioplasty, biopsies, and image-guided thermal ablation
Requirements
  • Two-year degree in Interventional Radiology
  • One year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician
  • Current AHA BLS certification
