Graduate Admission Counselor

At Baldwin Wallace University, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Graduate Admission Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our admissions staff, you will play a critical role in recruiting and enrolling academically qualified students in our graduate programs.

• Travel to local colleges and universities to participate in graduate school fairs, admission sessions, and other recruitment programming.
• Meet with prospective students and families to provide information about our institution and admission processes.
• Evaluate applications and manage day-to-day communication and operations of programs within assigned territories through data entry, reporting, and database management.
• Participate in programming and events as instructed by the assistant director and director.
• Coordinate social media initiatives for the graduate and professional studies admission team.
• Develop and implement new recruitment strategies in conjunction with the assistant director and director to obtain leads and prospects for graduate populations.
• Collaborate with BW graduate partners, departments, clubs, advisors, and faculty to support admission and enrollment initiatives for graduate and post-baccalaureate programming.
• Manage ongoing projects as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent public speaking, communication, customer service, analytical, and organizational skills.
• A commitment to the value and mission of a comprehensive education, as well as to diversity and inclusiveness.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. Strong time management skills required.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Social media and CRM experience preferred.
• Previous university admission experience preferred.
• Ability to travel for recruiting purposes and work evenings and some weekends.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, pass the University's Decision Driving Program, and maintain insurability under the University's vehicle insurance plan.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Limited physical effort required. No or limited exposure to physical risk.
