Bakery Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bakery Clerk to join our team at Harps Careers. As a Bakery Clerk, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality products are available to our customers.

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating and recognizing customer needs, exceeding customer expectations, and using customer information to improve products and services.
• Food Safety and Quality: Maintain food safety standards, food preparation and production requirements, and cool standards to ensure the highest quality products are available to our customers.
• Merchandising and Sales Floor Standards: Support merchandising and sales floor standards by properly stocking, rotating, signing, setting, and maintaining displays, sampling, and overall department zoning procedures.
• Problem Solving: Clearly define issues upfront and use critical thinking skills and logic to effectively obtain answers to questions through a conscious and organized manner.
• Safety and Quality Orientation: Consistently produce and emphasize the need to produce high-quality products and services while being aware of the issues and following procedures that affect personal safety and the safety of others.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• No previous work experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Adaptable to different situations and the ability to respond with flexibility to shifting priorities and rapid change.
• Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
