Job Summary:

The Ready Mix Driver will safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver products to customer sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver products to customer sites, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products, meeting customer expectations and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operational order and report any maintenance or repair issues.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class B CDL license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and other employees
