At BGIS, we are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and maintenance to our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems
  • Install and service new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Assess and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems to determine required repairs
  • Inspect and perform equipment repair and replacements
  • Respond to emergency service requests
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
  • Participate in and assist with facility-related projects
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of commercial HVAC experience
  • Hold a valid certification to provide HVAC services in the state in which the work is performed
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as needed with some travel required
  • Physical requirements: climb and descend ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs., lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver in confined spaces
  • EPA Certification required
  • Must be willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Must meet enhanced security clearance requirements
  • Subject to drug, background, and driver's license checks
