We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Decatur Memorial Hospital. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Certification Requirements- BLS certification and an active Illinois PTA license are mandatory.
- Experience with WebPT EHR is required.
- Previous experience with EMR systems is preferred.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
- First-time applicants: Not accepted.
- Weekend shifts: Not required.
- On-call duties: Not required.
- Floating within facility: Not applicable.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a blocked schedule.
- Local candidates: Accepted without radius restrictions.
- Pending licenses: Not accepted; an active Illinois license is required.
- Time-off restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
- Guaranteed hours: The client may cancel up to 36 hours during a 13-week assignment without compensation for those hours.
Candidates should possess:
- Specialty Skills: Experience in Neurology and Orthopedics.
- Assessment Skills: Proficiency with adaptive devices and various range of motion techniques.
- Orthopedic Experience: Familiarity with conditions such as ankle sprains and degenerative disc disease.
- Neurologic Experience: Skills in post-stroke rehabilitation.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field.
- Active Illinois PTA license is essential.
- Shift: 5x8 Days.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, blocked.
