POSITION SUMMARY:

The Breast Imaging Technologist is responsible for conducting specialized imaging procedures of the breast, playing a crucial role in the detection and management of breast-related health issues.

This role involves a range of responsibilities including the operation of mammographic imaging equipment and various associated devices.


Training Opportunities Available for XRAY Technologists
Qualifications:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by the AMA.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Breast Imaging Technologist is preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
ARRT (M) - Mammography certification is mandatory.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Current BLS Certification is required.
