We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to join our team as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) in Walkersville, MD. This is a per diem opportunity that offers flexibility and variety.


About the Job

This GNA role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with geriatric patients, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.


Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements
  • Certification as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)
  • BLS certification
