Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description

Overview: Aventure Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patient conditions to provide accurate and timely care
  • Record observations and vital signs to track patient progress
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians
  • Draw blood samples as needed for laboratory testing
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating, dressing, and bathing
  • Clean and bandage wounds as necessary to promote healing
  • Assist in moving and repositioning patients to prevent complications
  • Teach patients and their families how to manage illnesses or injuries
  • Consult and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
