Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our team at the Harker Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.


About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a qualified RN with at least 5 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility. As Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and driving positive clinical outcomes.


Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of clinical staff, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality improvement, analyzing data and implementing strategies to drive positive clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license with at least 5 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility as a Director of Nursing.
  • A strong history of compliance with state and federal regulations, knowledge of CMS 5 Star Program, and evidence of positive clinical outcomes.
  • The ability to teach, educate, motivate, and train clinical team members.
  • A positive team spirit and mindset, along with a successful work history.
