Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain both physical and virtual server deployments in data centers and cloud environments, including server OS image creation and configuration management.
  • Support on-premises virtual server environments, including hypervisors and hyperconverged infrastructure.
  • Develop and enforce security protocols, assess risks, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with established security standards.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex technical issues within the infrastructure.
  • Lead projects aimed at enhancing Windows Server management and operational efficiency.
  • Document system standards and explore innovative solutions for system administration tasks.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong service orientation, the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks, and sound judgment in security matters. Excellent communication skills are essential for conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 5-7 years of experience in Windows server management.
  • Proven expertise in managing server deployments both on-premises and in cloud environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and network protocols.
  • Proficiency in Windows PowerShell scripting.
  • Demonstrated strategic and critical thinking abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with firewall management and load balancing in cloud and on-premises settings.
  • Familiarity with managing Windows servers at scale using automation tools.
