We are seeking dedicated professionals to fulfill the role of Counselor within our Bimini residential treatment program, which caters to both male and female participants.
Key Responsibilities:- Exhibit appropriate and healthy behaviors while adhering to ethical guidelines, including HIPAA and confidentiality protocols.
- Oversee a caseload of residents/participants, providing essential support and advocating for their unique needs throughout their treatment journey.
- Develop and evaluate personalized treatment plans for each resident/participant, tracking their progress towards established objectives.
- Ensure timely updates to treatment plans in response to individual progress and any necessary adjustments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered, complying with Agency and regulatory standards to ensure clarity and promptness.
- Collaborate with the Program Director to refine and enhance program curricula as needed.
- Facilitate Case Management services to optimize benefits for residents/participants.
- Assist residents/participants with applications for benefits such as DPSS, SSI, and Medi-Cal.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and Agency policies while fostering positive relationships with various stakeholders.
- Possess a current SUD Counselor registration or certification from a State-approved agency (certification must be obtained within five years of registration).
- Non-smoker preferred, with familiarity with 12-Step programs and philosophy.
- Hold current CPR and First Aid Certifications.
