  • Documentation Management: Collect and organize required documentation, verifying applicant information, including employment, income, and credit history.
  • Communication: Communicate with loan officers and underwriters to ensure seamless processing and underwriting.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Time Management: Manage timelines to meet processing deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing borrower inquiries and resolving discrepancies and issues during the application process.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on loan files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Loan Eligibility: Calculate debt-to-income ratios and determine loan eligibility, preparing loan files for underwriting review.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain knowledge of current lending guidelines and regulations, staying up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Borrower Communication: Communicate with borrowers to provide updates on the loan process, ensuring transparency and clear communication.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in mortgage processing, with a strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting processes, and regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
  • Work Environment: In-office position, working Monday to Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm.
