Core Responsibilities

  • Report to the administrative office each day to receive assignments from absent educators
  • Effectively organize students for instructional activities
  • Execute lesson plans designed to engage and inspire students
  • Provide tailored instructional support to individuals or small groups
  • Oversee students in various school environments
  • Attend to the needs of students while maintaining confidentiality
  • Assist students with special requirements in accordance with their IEPs/504 Plans
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students
  • Promptly report any incidents to the appropriate personnel
  • Perform additional duties as required

  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Comprehend and implement lesson plans effectively
  • Foster positive relationships with both staff and students
  • Establish effective classroom management techniques
  • Exhibit flexibility, friendliness, and the ability to connect with students
  • Uphold high ethical standards and confidentiality

Special Requirements

  • Participate in orientation and training sessions to fulfill necessary credentials
  • Must hold a valid teaching certification in Oklahoma

Physical Requirements

This role may require you to engage in various physical activities, including walking, standing, and occasional lifting, across different school settings. Effective communication and visual acuity are essential, along with the ability to assist students requiring support.
