Meijer is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Clerk to join our team. As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will be responsible for performing automated pharmaceutical warehouse operations, including receiving and storing product, participating in the cycle count process, and preparing products for shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload product from truck and receive and store incoming supplies
  • Verify paperwork with received items from Distribution Center
  • Read computer-generated screens to find indicated merchandise on labeled shelves and verify size and strength of the product before putting product away
  • Process orders for shipping and ensure the right tote is on the right hub and close out of the tote
  • Sort orders by store location and place in totes for shipping
  • Separate product by lot numbers and expiration dates
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including dusting and mopping floors and running a floor scrubber in the production area
  • Assist maintenance staff with duties such as cleaning photo eyes, conveyor belts, and machinery
  • Clean up spills in the production area as needed
  • Execute sorter activities and auto bagging
  • Prepare ice packs for use
  • Load outbound pallets of freight
  • Assemble shelving or other building fixtures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • CRT/PC familiarity a plus
  • General janitorial experience
  • Retail or warehouse experience preferred
  • Powered cleaning equipment experience preferred
  • Ability to read computer-generated screens
  • Effective communication skills
