Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Tech-EMT to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a Patient Care Tech-EMT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including vital sign collection, patient transfers, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Collect and process specimens for diagnostic testing.
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety, including fall prevention and infection control.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
