Job Title: Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team at Liona Enterprises Inc. As a key member of our financial leadership team, you will play a critical role in managing the financial health of our company.

Job Summary:

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, government contracts, and industry standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, government contracts, and industry standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's assets and interests.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Audit Preparation: Prepare for and coordinate financial audits, liaising with external auditors as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Controller in a similar industry, focusing on small and mid-sized businesses.
  • Familiarity with government contracts and regulations, especially in the IT integration sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
