SAP BPC Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BPC Consultant to lead our finance and IT departments in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP BPC solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP BPC implementation, configuration, and support, with a deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and consolidation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementation and Configuration:
    • Design, develop, and implement SAP BPC solutions to meet business requirements.
    • Configure BPC applications, models, and dimensions according to business needs.
    • Develop BPC logic scripts, BADI (Business Add-Ins), and data manager packages.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Support and Maintenance:
    • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing BPC applications.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data loads, system performance, and user access.
    • Perform regular system upgrades and patches.
  • Training and Documentation:
    • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for BPC processes, configurations, and customizations.
    Qualifications:
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP BPC.
      • Proven track record of at least two full lifecycle SAP BPC implementations.
      • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Proficiency in SAP BPC configuration and administration.
      • Experience with BPC embedded and standard models.
      • Knowledge of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP HANA is highly desirable.
      • Familiarity with EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) add-in for Excel.
    • Soft Skills:
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
      Preferred Certifications:
      • SAP BPC Certification
      • SAP BW/HANA Certification (optional but beneficial)
      Travel Requirements:
      • Ability to travel as required for project needs and client meetings.
